Joshua 1:1-9 | Beyond Anxiety and Overwhelm | Alex Culpepper
What happens when what you see seems to contradict what God has said? As Joshua prepares to lead Israel into the Promised Land, everything in front of him gives him a reason to be afraid. The people are outmatched. The cities are fortified. The task is enormous. But God calls Joshua to move forward—not because Joshua is strong enough, but because God has promised to be with him.
In Joshua 1:1–9, we discover that biblical courage isn't pretending the obstacles aren't real. It's learning to let God's Word define reality more than our fears do.
In this message, we explore what it means to trust God's promises, anchor ourselves in his Word, and step courageously into the places where God is calling us to obedience.
